Today is mom’s birthday.

Becoming an author was a life long goal of hers.

The Pink Tree Collective is the culmination of bringing that goal to fruition and practicing kindness, as instilled in her from a young age.

While there are many challenges of aging, growing old is a gift and a blessing. There is no shortage of quotes about aging. However, this one resonates with me best:

“You don’t stop laughing when you grow old. You grow old when you stop laughing.” —George Bernard Shaw
