The Polish poet Stanisŀaw Jerzy Lec said,
“No snowflake in an avalanche ever feels responsible.”
Quite literally, the beauty of one snow flake is not dangerous, but the mass of unstable snow can take a life.
His assessment of how horrible events can happen in society resonates with the difficult times we are experiencing today. History will likely not be kind when viewing the collective responsibility we bear.
