Primrose–Little Earliest One

I confess that primrose is not my favorite flower.

That said, I cannot overstate the joy they bring as very welcome color at a time that we could all use a bit of a lift.

The genus name Primula means “little earliest one” and is the feminine diminutive of the Latin primus,
