Some of the best advice is to rest.
Several wise and kind people have advised me to take time for myself.
As a physician, I understand the mental and physical benefits of rest.
I ask people to rest as part of their clinical plans.
Practically, resting is a challenge when you have responsibilities that cannot be delayed.
For me, that manifests in caregiving and a profession that does not relent in demands for time and attention.
For others, unpaid bills or physical safety.
